When people ask what my company’s name: “No More Nylons” means, I tell them, “it’s about getting out of the work you have to do, and into the work you love.”
Part of that process includes simplifying by reducing what you don’t want to be spending time on. For example, this week, I unsubscribed from 20 newsletters and stopped following 120 people on Twitter. It sounds brutal, but this way I actually focus on what shows up.
And the second half of the equation is to add in what you do want to be doing more of.
For me, that means speaking to groups. Last week, I spoke on a panel for the Girl’s Empowerment Workshop, a local program that works to build girls’ self esteem and confidence.
I’m also speaking at the Love. Your. Life. retreat in Westlake Village, California at the Four Seasons Hotel on June 9 & 10, 2012. (You’re invited, I’d love to see you there. Click on the link for early registration discount pricing prior to May 28, 2012.)
What are you doing for yourself on a practical level to support your mind, body and spirit?
Take good care of you…
