Recently I was speaking with a friend, who told me she went to a restaurant where they offered their special “$100 Dessert”!
I closed my eyes and imagined what that might be like. Exquisite chocolate truffle, something with gold foil, something crunchy, soft, smooth, savory, salty, like a whole platter of tiny delicacies… That’s what I imagined.
She then went on to tell me it was a container with 25 scoops of ice cream and every topping ever put on a Sundae. The idea of eating out of a trough totally grossed me out. It’s so crazy to think that the debate of quality or quantity is still around. More isn’t better, it’s just more. I get it… it’s such a great life & business lesson.
In business, more information can just be overwhelming. More to do. More work to figure out… However, more of the right information… that’s what I want. I need to stop talking about our services like “The $100 Dessert” and start describing them in exquisite detail…
For example, my current business coaching is called Get Momentum.
